So, I never actually made it back to Leicester yesterday but had to go back today to pick up my stuff, bit of a waste of time really. Anyway, on my way there and back I had plenty of time to think about my next blog post, which was going to be, surprisingly enough, about driving (the M1, constant roadworks and people’s lack of ability) however, I’ve been sat here trying to find new people to follow on twitter and thinking of ways to get more people to follow me (one of which being to be more interesting! (difficult!)) and on one of the sites I was looking at, there was a silly flash banner game (the ones that tell you to shoot/hit something so many times, then it takes you to a website saying you’ve won), we all know they’re bollox and you don’t actually win anything but on the odd occasion I like to follow these links to see what they’re trying to fob people off with.

Leicester: part one
So I finally dragged myself away from College Humor and yesterday’s post long enough to pack the car and head over to Leicester for Spring Bash 2009. I hadn’t stayed in my tent for the past few bashs I’ve been to so for some reason I decided to take it this time round. While it does provide dry shelter it is a 10 man tent and is frikkin huge which is why I rarely take it with me.
I arrived on the field at just gone 3pm, luckily enough there were all of 2 people on the field so I had prime pickings on the tent spot front but not much choice on the helper front. It took 3 of us about 30 minutes to pitch the gargantuaent (see what I did there?!) and then the boredom ensued. After an hour or two of waiting about outside for no one else to turn up, we hit the pub for a few games of pool and a quick pint before the bar shut (it was only technically open to ready all the pumps etc).

Apatow world
So, last night during my last minute dash to finish this website, TweetDeck (my twitter-client of choice) pinged up a new tweet from Digg (the “popularity” site) with a link to a site called College Humor (yes, it’s American, hence the spelling). Out of random curiosity I hit the link posted and stumbled upon a brilliant little website! Writing this now, I should actually be packing my car for my trip to Leicester but since 9am I’ve done nothing, absolutely nothing, but sift through this entire site and I don’t think I’ve actually finished seeing it all.
I wanted to post a video from it that I thought was funny but I just couldn’t bring myself to pick a single one (trust me, they are brilliant) but I have finally picked one, that, strangely might not be the best, and isn’t immediately obvious what the video is about, but the tune is so damn catchy.
To explain the video, it’s basically about how the [enable American terminolgy] “douchebag” or “loser” gets the hot girls in TV shows/films, and when you find out who Judd Apatow is, it becomes even more clear!
